Recital 2026: Recital Week Checklist
Before Rehearsal
☐ Read the recital guide and note arrival times
☐ Confirm your dancer’s recital number and dress rehearsal date
☐ Try on costumes at home and check for secure straps, hems, and fit
☐ Label all costume pieces, shoes, and accessories
☐ Practice hair and makeup if possible
Packing for Dress Rehearsal & Recital
☐ Costume bag or bin labeled with dancer’s name
☐ Costumes packed in performance order
☐ All dance shoes
☐ Hair supplies and makeup for touch-ups
☐ Water bottle
☐ Finale shirt and black bottoms (Grades 1–12)
Recital Day
☐ Arrive 30 minutes early
☐ Dancer is dressed in first costume with hair and makeup complete
☐ Costumes and dance shoes brought in a garment bag
☐ Finale outfit included
☐ Take a deep breath and enjoy the moment
